Is that a... I don't know what that is the physicist is holding. I can't vote until I know.
Ymir is a frost Giant that created the first of the Jotunn while he slept in a way I'd rather not say. And when he killed the ice cow that gave birth to Odin and his two unimportant brother, They killed Ymir and used his body to make the universe. Since Loki is half jotunn that makes Ymir related to Loki. Therefor he is awesome.

I find a common theme emerging among all religion that worships a god. Supposedly god or the equivalent of a creator creates the universe. Then... *what* do they live in? A universe outside of our universe? Well then someone must have created that too! Thus, there must be a god that created that god. And a god that created that god who created god, so on and so forth. In history, god was *invented* to keep control over people. Looks like it still works today.

Oh, well, in that case, Boxer since hist fists hit harder.
Hey just because I know it doesn't mean I believe it, man. You don't know what I believe so I hardly think you're in a place to talk to me like that. And since you don't know anything, I'll tell you. Asgard where the Aesir live is actually right above Midgard. Too human doesn't tell you that, does it? Zeus and his gods live Olympia, on top of Mount Olympus. And in Greek mythology the world started as nothing.

It was just a general observation concerning the material itself based on the information you posted. Quote me where I stated that you believe in it.

I don't see what how what I said has anything to do with history making up god to control people. And the way you say "still works today" makes me think you're trying to imply something about me.

Re: momo's scribblenaut tournament!!!11!!one!1! exclamation
Your mentioning of the universe being created from Ymir's body by other gods prompted my oberservation of the claim that the world was created by a god. That's how it had something to do with my previous post. After that point it was just me rambling onwards as my thoughts developed. By saying how it still works today, I was referring to the many religious fanatics still present in the world who follow religions without question and damn those who do. Any way, I do not see any quotes and come to the conclusion that you assumed all those things yourself.
On a side note, I do know about Asgard and Olympia. Since you don't know what I know, I hardly think you're in a place to talk to me like that.Queen wrote:And since you don't know anything, I'll tell you.
